2021 Club Championships
It has been decided, that, like in previous years, for the good of the Club Championships and in-line with good sportsmanship, the times recorded for swimmers in the JSD, 8/U and 9/U categories will stand as is and will count towards the final result of those particular age-group categories. Race positions after a disqualification in any particular event will still stand, but the recorded time will not be submitted to Swim England for 'Ranking' recognition, disqualifications in line with ASA Law will in these instances will still be abided by, under any circumstancies.
The reason behind this decision is to give all swimmers the opporunity to compete, in many cases it is their very first experience of competition and there we wish to encourage our younger swimmers to continue and develop.
The results for the 8/U swimmers have been recorded on a separate spreadsheet, again, their times will be sent to rankings, this is just an issue with how we've setup the SportsSys software, it will not in anyway impact upon placings, trophies etc...
